Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Learn With Me mobile application (“App”). By downloading, accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who we are
Learn With Me is an early number learning app developed and owned by Gudani Growth Hub (Pty) Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company based in South Africa. Our aim is to help young children build early numeracy skills through short, playful activities.
2. Eligibility and accounts
The App is designed for children’s learning, but only parents or legal guardians may:
- Create and manage accounts;
- Sign in using a valid email address or Google account;
- Create, view and manage child profiles and progress.
When you create an account, you confirm that you are an adult with the legal authority to act on behalf of the child or children whose profiles you create.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for supervising your child’s use of the App on your device.
3. Use of the App
The App is provided for personal, non-commercial educational use. You agree that you will:
- Use the App in line with these Terms and applicable laws;
- Ensure that child profiles are created and managed only by parents or legal guardians;
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, copy or resell the App or its content.
You are responsible for the device you use and any data charges that may apply.
4. Data, privacy and POPIA
To operate and improve the App, we collect and process limited information, including:
- Parent account details (e.g. email, sign-in method);
- Child profile nickname/avatar and learning progress, scores and game usage;
- Technical logs such as device information and usage patterns, used to maintain security and performance.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
Processing of personal information is done in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and other applicable laws. For full details, please read our Privacy Notice.
5. Intellectual property
The App, including all content, game designs, artwork, text, branding and underlying software, is owned by Gudani Growth Hub (Pty) Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, publicly display or create derivative works of the App or its content except as allowed for private, personal use with your child.
6. Availability, changes and updates
We aim to keep the App reliable and available, but it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may:
- Update or change features and content;
- Temporarily suspend access for maintenance or technical reasons;
- Discontinue or limit access to parts of the App.
We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
7. Limitation of liability
As far as permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Any indirect, consequential or special losses or damages arising from your use of the App;
- Losses caused by issues outside our reasonable control, such as network or device failures;
- Educational outcomes or decisions made based on App data.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is not allowed by law.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when we add new features or to reflect legal changes. When we do, we will:
- Update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page; and
- Make the latest version available in the Parent Hub in the App and on this website.
If you continue to use the App after the Terms have changed, this means you accept the updated Terms.
